"title": "Amis Traditional Ritual Transmitted by Lidaw Tribe Shamans 阿美族里漏部落祭師祭儀",
"desc": "<span><span> The sikawasay of the Ami tribe refers to people who possess gods. There are male and female priests, regardless of age. They are a \"ritual group\" that performs sacrifices for private individuals and tribes. There are currently only nine priests in the Lidaw tribe, all of whom are women. Priests are not a voluntary group, but must be selected by the gods, through illness or dreams, and approved by mother-level priests before they are eligible to participate. It is also necessary to observe taboos in daily life, such as not eating onions, garlic, sheep, chicken, rabbits, etc.; eating vegetables and fish is forbidden on the day of the ceremony; during the ceremony, it is not allowed to have sex with a partner, not touch raw water, or not travel far away. All taboos are to draw a line from the secular world.<br></span><br> In the process of performing social responsibilities, priests' groups have derived their functions in tribal society. Its functions are as follows: 1. Worship the ancestors and maintain cohesive tribal feelings 2. Economic function 3. Entertainment function 4. Education function 5. Social function 6. Inheritance function.<br><br> However, due to the changes of the times, the fault of inheritance, and the burden of observing taboos, young people are no longer willing to join the priesthood. The current priests are getting older, and the tribal people who participated in the ceremonies in the past are also gradually losing. Therefore, the existing nine-person priest group is indeed a very precious folk treasure.<div><br><span><span><br> 阿美族的祭師(<i>sikawasay</i>)指的是擁有神靈的人，祭師有男有女，不分年齡，是一種為私人與部落執行祭祀的「祭祀團體」。里漏部落(Lidaw)祭祀團體目前僅存九名祭師，全為女性。祭師並非自願團體，而是必須經神靈挑選、透過生病或作夢後，由媽媽級祭師鑑定認可後，才有資格參加。平時亦須遵守禁忌，如終生不吃蔥、蒜、羊、雞、兔等；儀式當日禁吃蔬菜類及魚類；儀式期間不得與伴侶行房事、不碰生水、不遠遊等。一切的禁忌是為了與世俗世界劃清界線。</span> <br><br> 祭師團體在執行社會責任的過程，衍生出她們在部落社會的功能。其功能分述如下：<br>1.慎終追遠、凝聚部落感情<br>2.經濟上之功能<br>3.娛樂的功能<br>4.教育上的功能<br>5.社會的功能<br>6.傳承的功能。 <br><br> 而由於時代的變遷、傳承上的斷層、必須守禁忌的負擔，年輕人已不願意加入祭師團體。目前的祭師漸漸老邁，往日在旁參與儀式的部落民眾也逐漸流失，故現存之九人祭師團體實屬相當珍貴之民俗寶藏。<div><br></div></span></div></span>",

"title": "Bunun Cultural Association in Xinyi Township of Nantou County南投縣信義鄉布農文化協會",
"desc": "<div>The Bunun Cultural Association established the group in 1999 to officially promote and</div><div>preserve pasibutbut and other ancient tunes of the Bunun. Consisting of mainly Bunun</div><div>people from Ming-de community, the group has been led by several directors who also researched, collected, and taught traditional Bunun music.</div><div><br>\"Lileh” refers to Chinese silver grass in the Bunun language, which is a common plant used</div><div>by indigenous Bunun communities. Lileh is also the old name of a Bunun tribe in Ming-de</div><div>Village of Xinyi Township. The group adopted the name to express the vitality of silver grass.</div><div><br>\"Sound to Heaven - Lileh of Bunun Tribe” is a chorus group dedicated to preserving the</div><div>Bunun's oral tradition of an eight-part polyphony known as pasibutbut. Without flamboyant</div><div>dance and music, the group has brought the most primeval and pure sounds of Bunun</div><div>tribe to countries including the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Poland, and Japan. Lileh</div><div>was designated as a National Preservationist of Traditional Arts by the Ministry of Culture in 2010.</div><div><br><br><div>南投縣信義鄉布農文化協會所屬的明德部落,因為文化傳承的使命感,期許能夠將布農族的音樂代代傳承,部落中的幾位耆老自發性地組成音樂展演團體,定期練唱,1999年正式成立南投縣信義鄉布農文化協會,並組成「Lileh 之聲合唱團」。</div><div><br>「Lileh」為現明德村布農族之舊部落名稱,意即為「菅蓁」,是當地居民應用在生活中相當廣泛的一 種植物,以此為名,除取其生命力旺盛之意,更表現出合唱音樂在布農族人生活中的重要性。</div><div><br>「南投縣信義鄉布農文化協會 Lileh 合唱團」為臺灣少數獲頒為「國家級重要傳統藝術保存團體」 之一,該團由南投縣信義鄉明德社區布農族人所組成,每位團員有著豐富的演唱經驗與絕佳的音樂 默契,演出足跡踏遍蘭、比利時、法國、波蘭、日本等多國。</div></div>",
